“ Vandys is a little spot off vine st, but now, a big spot in my belly. Walking through the parking lot, the smell hits you immediately from the put smoker, and your mouth begins to water. All of the staff are super friendly and the place is rather clean. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with some coleslaw, and my daughter had the half pit smoked chicken with some fries and the mac and cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food came out quickly. Also, the prices were perfect. Two dinners for 28 dollars. I am happy with my experience at Vandys. ”

“ This is a cute place located in downtown Statesboro. The smell of the smoker is excellent as you walk into the restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The menu is limited but it's a barbecue place so that is expected. We got the large pulled pork plates, a cheeseburger, and a bunch of sides. I would have liked to see the large have more food but it was good smoked meats. The two barbecues offered were also very good and the Brunswick stew was a highlight for me. One suggestion for the restaurant would be to offer a combo plate so that customers can try all of the meat at once. Overall, good lunch, good atmosphere, and we will definitely be back. ”
